Web Developer / Development Lead:

Bluewire Technologies is seeking to recruit a web developer with leadership experience or leadership potential. You should be enthusiastic and technically solid with some experience of web technologies preferred, particularly client side technologies, but ability to learn quickly is the most important attribute.

We currently use Microsoft .NET / C# in an Ajax configuration but are currently migrating to the Ext JavaScript framework, Monorail, ActiveRecord / NHibernate and C# 3. We also have an increasing emphasis on agile development practices, particularly TDD and Scrum. Experience with these technologies would be beneficial, but not essential and we would welcome applications from developers strong in other areas (e.g. Java, Ruby) who are willing to learn.

We are a tight knit team of 10 with an informal but fast-paced and hard working culture, based in the heart of Clifton Village in Bristol. Our developers are treated to the best tools (fast developer machines, twin monitors, Resharper etc.) to facilitate maximum achievement potential and benefit to the company.

We also believe in facilitating CPD (Continuous professional development) amongst our team and regularly sponsor conference and course attendance (e.g. Future of Web Apps, BCS Health Informatics Conference, BarCamp) and we all actively participate in local developer user groups.

Salary: £30k - 40k depending on experience
