EproInk is a specialist module for tablet PCs. Bluewire has developed this module to mimic the flexibility and freedom of paper. We find doctors prefer using a pen than using a keyboard – they can just write directly on the screen of the tablet. There are powerful handwriting recognition features built in, although some users prefer to leave their writing as it is, for inclusion in the patient e-file

Although this module was developed for tablet PCs, we have also enabled its operation on desktop PCs, so that doctors can import a pre-defined sketch of a body part and mark the site of a scar etc. This ensures that they can continue to record the position of lesions as accurately as they formerly did with paper.

EproInk is fully integrated into Epro and so notes captured with it are stored alongside data captured with keyboards, our custom forms engine, or our automatic voice recognition module EproSpeech
