This module has been created to fill the needs of, for example, a "Hospital at Night" team, to have effective documentation to facilitate handover between different teams, and for the management of the most sick patients.

The use of an electronic system has many benefits over paper:

• Documentation available anywhere in the hospital
• Easy to manage by a central co-ordinator
• All entries auditable and timestamped
• Can be analyzed later to look at data patterns, or identify at risk patients
